So much

So it has been almost another month, and I have so much  to post on.

There has been the 4th of July, though nothing happened here due to fire danger.
We went to a baseball game in Yakima.
We spent time in Tacoma with friends and family while we were down a car, interviews happened and 1 bathroom was torn apart.
Jared got burned.
Ally started Cheer!
We stuck around here for a bit due to illness and such and OH MY GOODNESS lots has happened.
So picking up where I left off.

4th of July.
Like I mentioned we were here and not much happened. Due to the hot dry weather here NO fireworks were allowed at all.  Even the normal city show. I understand why, but it was a bummer none the less.

To make it a little fun anyway the kids made their own shirts this year.  Yes, I could have shelled out 20ish bucks a shirts and had them look dapper and fancy (like I have every other year) but this year we went cheap and fun.

Found shirts on sale at the store for around 5 bucks. They picked their colors

I cut and laminated and secured different size stars on the shirts.

Paint we had, and spoons handles were here as well of course.  I wrapped the handles in plastic wrap.
They then dotted all around the stars.

So I did star hair again.
It is fun

Modeling their shirts

They were proud of their projects.

We went to Yakima and watched a Pippins baseball game. We went with family here in town for Uncle GW's birthday.

We were able to meet Scott E. Pippin the apple.

Jared was invited to run with him around the bases.

Ally 6, Mailey 3, Carys 4, and Kenna 5
They played "Tea" with water and popcorn for a long time.

A few days later we headed to Tacoma for a week.  We had an issue with my Mazda early the week before.  It was actually the day before we went to the baseball game.  The power steering went out, the front brakes were shot and AC quit.

We had one of our bathrooms torn up.  There were issues that we knew about for a long time and Maintenance was finally coming to take care of it.  It happened to be the same week as the interviews.
Aaron had interviews in Tacoma, Seattle, and Fife area so in order for him to make it to the interviews (we had to be out of the house due to lack of bathroom and the grossness) with 1 vehicle the kids and I hunkered down with my parents.

While there we got together with friends and just had a good time. We went to spray parks, the beach, made goodies went bowling and Jared went to an airshow with Daddy.

A few shots from the visit.

Amy and Jared 8
They are about 1 month apart in age.

Ally and Sadie 6
Again, they are apart a month or so apart

Jared got burned pretty bad at the spray park
This was the next morning.

By that afternoon it had grown more.
It was so much worse in person.

We spent time at another park fully clothed and protected from the sun.

Yes, that is my son with the calculator at the park.

Saturday Aaron and Jared had a special day planned for months and months.
Mom and Dad wanted to make it a special day for the girls too.
We went to the beach first.

After the beach we went to McDonalds for lunch.  They loved getting a Minion toy.
We went home and had some quiet time while watching a movie.  Once everyone felt a little more alive we went BOWLING!
The girls have only been once and they loved it.

This is the way Carys preferred to bowl.
On her buns.

She had a great time.

I WON!

I forgot but somewhere in the middle between the 4th of July and baseball Allyson started cheer!
SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT!

I love that she has found something she enjoys so much.

It was a hot day.  After they were done that got to run through the sprinklers!

I am going to stop there for now.

End it on a positive note!
