Jared is 7!

Sever years old.  Seven years is such a big, big number.  Seven years since his traumatic and dramatic delivery.  Next year he will be baptized, and could be baptized on his birthday since next year his birthday will be on a Saturday.  He has talked about it several times since his birthday.  "Next year Daddy will baptize me!"  I'm glad he is excited to be baptized, but I wish he wasn't in such a hurry to grow up.

My parents didn't think they were going to make it over that day, but they did.  They were thinking they were going to have to wait until the next morning and head over for the big shindig (which I will post about next) but Dad got home earlier than expected.  It was a fun surprise for Jared and the girls too.

I love this boy more then any other little boy ever!  He is a wonderful kid with many awesome qualities.  He is brilliant and doesn't let it go to his head.  He is very quick learner and I love being able to spend extra time with him here at home. I love that he loves his family and spending time with us. He is a bit too grown up in some ways that I wish didn't bother him, but that also makes him who he is.  I love everything about him and I'm so glad that he is part of our family.
