Over a month

I have really been meaning to update, but what can I say I am a slacker.

I will update on the party and all that another time, but for now I will finish up on November and onward.

November was spent adjusting to the routine again.  Things really went to the wayside when the gallbladder attack happened the first of October, then the surgery, then there were the 3 birthdays.  Once the big party was over it was back to getting back to normal.

Thanksgiving was pretty quiet.  I had gotten a special breakfast for us and then we were to go over to Aaron's families for dinner.  Well, my body doesn't like breakfast much and the breakfast was a killer on my stomach, so the plans were put aside.  They brought us stuff after they were done eating.

Since I ruined Thanksgiving plans I came up with this little craft that we all did that late afternoon. Four hand prints from everyone with something they are thankful for on the back.

So now for an update with possibly a few pictures.

Jared has been excelling big time in school.  He is doing wonderfully and last week was recognized at an all school assembly for his excellent and hard work!  He was so proud and so were/are we. It was a total surprise, but we have a special certificate to keep.

Ally is LOVING school!  They are getting ready for their Christmas program.  They are doing a little rendition of the Muppet Christmas Carol.  From what I have been told for her teacher is, "Ally remembers all her words and the other kids' words too.  She is a wonderful help to the other kids and me too."  It made me chuckle, cuz that is Ally.  She is a little Mama.

Some of Ally's crafts from school
Here she is wearing the Pilgrim hat she made.  She wrote on it that she is thankful for her family and then drew us all.

Carys is great. She loves all this holiday stuff.  She is really into the Christmas stuff this year. She loves playing "Frozen" and doing whatever the other two are doing.  She still has a total love for dinos and talks to them all the time.  I can't believe she only has a couple weeks of nursery left.  My baby is getting so big.

So now we are in December.  Things are going okay.  It has kind of been one thing after another but all in all we are okay.

Elfis showed up on the first of December just like he did last year. The kids have been very excited each day to see what he has done. So far he has been pretty calm and has only done a couple mischievous things. He is a pretty calm Elf. I will post more about that later on. That is a lot of pictures.

Let's see so far in December we have gone to see "Frozen." We all loved it!  I have to say it is one of my new favorites.  My last favorites that Disney brought out was probably Beauty and the Beast and Tangled.  It's been a while that I really really enjoyed a Disney movie.

We went to Tacoma about a week and a half ago.  I came down with a nasty cold which got worse while there (I am still fighting it),  I also got my first set of stitches (that didn't come from birthing anyway.) Stupid airplane toy! It was a "fun" weekend.

While we were there we went to the Festival of the Nativity. I hobbled rather uncomfortably, but it was still nice to see. The kids got dressed up, played with nativities and had a good time.
We then all got dressed up and had some pictures taken. Haven't seen the big family pictures yet.  I think I heard that they are going to be put up online.

These few pictures were taken with my dumb little point and shoot.  I hate that camera.

Someone took a lot of time making and painting this huge back drop which totally reminded me of our little people nativity.

Jared making a goofy face while doing a magnetic nativity.

Ally in the child's dress up as Mary.

Carys being a lamb.

While we were gone a package with Christmas presents was delivered and then stolen from our front door.  I can't believe (well, I can) that someone would do that.  It really made me mad. We contacted everyone we could think of.  The post master did an investigation and then came by the house to talk to us.  He told us to file a "stolen mail" report with the police and then contact Target. We were able to get our money back, but were not able to replace exactly what was purchased, since something was sold out. It frustrates me. We did get our money back though some I am grateful for that.

We are all trying to get healthy for the holiday.  We are fighting nasty colds at the moment but are okay besides that.  I am suppose to get my stitches out Friday, so that will be good.  One less thing to worry about.

So now for some shots.  I took some pictures of my kiddos and a couple nieces the other day wearing their new Christmas duds from Uncle Mitchell.  They aren't the best of course, but I think they turned out pretty cute.

I love this shot. Jared and his eyelashes.  Ally looking sweet and normal and Carys smiling big.

A "get the wiggles out" shot.

This one makes me laugh for different reasons.
Jared is making an odd face.
Ally is seriously doing a model pose (not sure where she learned that.)
Carys is all happy!

Poser again!

She is such a sweet girl!

I will post on the things that Elfis is up to next.
