Last Post

This is the last post for 2010.  It's been quite a year, with lots of trials and blessings.  What a better way to round off a year, then by having our sweet little Carys.  She has been a great addition, and the kids love her.  So closing off the year with some pictures from this last week.

Here are shots from this last week.  Christmas fun in Tacoma.

Precursor-Jared is in a "take a picture of me" phase, so there are more of him and he slid himself into some of them last minute.

I love his eyes!.

Brother and Sister time.

Smiling through the bink, which we are working on getting rid of.

 Tacoma!
(Jared stuck himself in)

Christmas Eve.
This one makes me laugh.
I guess it takes a lot of concentration on both our parts to make a gingerbread house.  Serious business!

He wanted to do the tree all by himself.

Getting better at sitting up in a corner.

Helping Nana make chewy gingersnaps.  Sounds like an oxymoron doesn't it.  Chewy gingersnaps.

Carys in one of  the Christmas outfits.

Perfect PJ's for Jared.
"Dear Santa, Define Good"

3 kiddos in their Christmas PJ's, getting ready for bed on Christmas Eve.

Cookies and Milk for Santa.  Yes, that is a lot of cookies, but Jared insisted on "4 and 4 cookies."

Christmas morning.
Ally with her Backyardigans

Jared with his garage, which he calls a "Car Shooter"

Carys getting help with her Glow worm

Carys in the wrappings.  Not sure why we do this, but every baby does this their first Christmas

Another Christmas outfit.

Merry Christmas!
(again, with a Jared in the shot! Goober!)

 Ally in her Fairy outfit.

Just cuz she is cute.

So that is what went down this Christmas. The kids made a haul!  Clothes, books, cars, games, palaces, Leapster2, bedding for Carys and more.  Thanks to everyone that helped us give the kids a great Christmas.

And just because it's interesting, here are the other 2 on their first Christmas.

Who does Carys resemble more?

That is all for now.  Hope you all have a great New Year!

Going by these pix my vote is for Jared - at least for now. We'll see.

Glad you had a wonderful Christmas. We did too. Busy, but nice. I love the baby in the wrapping papers. What a fun tradition. As for who Carys resembles more, I can't tell! Based on the pictures you posted, she looks like both of them. Maybe your kids will end up like mine--put them together without us, and people wonder if they're from the same family.
