Weekend

This last weekend was spent in Tacoma with the plans of getting the kid's pictures taken like we do every 6 months or so. We do it about 3 months, 6 months and then a year. So this was their yearly shot. I still can't believe Ally is 1 and Jared is 3. Holy cow time does fly.

Anyway we had been hoping ALL week that Ally would be feeling better enough and her rash would be at the very least off her face. Well the weekend came and YES it was gone pretty much everywhere. She was and is still coughing but that is what is great about pictures. You can't see a cough!

Friday night came and Jared had big red patches on his face/cheeks. WHAT!!! Finally Ally is clear and now this? Mom and I got to looking at it and we think that he got a little wind burned from his cold air walk earlier that day. So that night I vaselined his face and hoped that the next morning he would be better so we could keep our appointment.

Well it worked!

Pictures happened and they turned out pretty cute.

That night was Mom and Dads church Christmas party. Both kids surprisingly sat on ol' fattys lap without an issue. Ally just sat staring at him the whole time, but Jared told him that he wanted cars. I was pretty sure before hand that I was going to have at least 1 crying child, but I was wrong.
