Since the last posting

So much has happened in the month since I last posted.  I don't even know where to start.

Not in order but may be in order anyway...
We got a piano
Scouts started
Baptism pictures
Thanksgiving with Mitchie
Elfis has left the building but his brother Kevin has come to be with us.
Sweet Livy passed away
Jared was Baptised
Livy's funeral

I will mention some things today and post on others next.  I want to give the right attention to each important event.

The weekend of Jared's birthday and the family birthday party we were given a free piano.  Seriously how could I not grab a free full size piano?  It is in good shape.  A few scratches that I am going to fix up, but other wise it is great.  The previous owner had taped the key letters on EVERY SINGLE KEY, so Dad and I meticulously cleaned every key.  It had also been recently tuned.  I love having it here.  I have noticed it is a good stress reliever for me.  I can sit down and play away and it makes me feel better.  Now for teaching the kids!

Jared is now a cub scout
He loves it so far.  Though he has only been to 2 pack meetings, but so far he enjoys it all.

I took Jared out for pictures.  The thing is it was FRIGID out so you can see that on his face. In the pictures you can see the ice.  Oh well, I got a few good ones. Enough to make the invites.

Thanksgiving we had a surprise.  Uncle Mitchie came home for a surprise visit.  He bought the kids some clothes to wear for the dinner.

Elfis is missing.  We had "heard" that some Elfs were "promoted" and their siblings were sent to watch families this year. This year we got Kevin.  I thought we should name him Elfred but I was out voted.  So, here is Kevin.

I didn't get a picture the first night.  We were all kind of out of it with the shock that our sweet niece and cousin had just passed away.

The second day on

Another lost shot while we were in Tacoma for Livy's funeral.

Once we were back...

Coming next is baptism day.

Maybe we can "stage" the lost shot on your next visit. :-) Cute ideas.
