The latest

So I am going to push my luck here by stating that we have been healthy for 3 weeks in a row.
YES! THREE WEEKS IN A ROW!

Enough on that.

With these three weeks we have gotten back on our daily schedule.  School, school, work, wrestling, church, repeat.

So an update on the family.

Aaron is doing pretty well.  Some days are better than others, but now that it has been 5
weeks since his Dad's passing there are more good days than not.  March 2nd was Steve's birthday and that day was kind of hard, but he is doing okay.  He has started working out again and that helps with lots of things.

I am doing okay.  I just had a birthday as well.  I am yet another year older, and I guess I'm okay with that.  Each year sounds a bit worse than the year before and I don't like that, but honestly what can you do?  Nothing.

Jared is doing great.  He has settled down a bit. He was dealing with some anxiety flair ups again with all that had been going on.  He worried about us leaving a lot, but things have settled again.  He has started second grade math and is loving it.  He is really good at math.  Wrestling is going well and he is having fun.  Baseball starts either the end of this month or beginning of next month.  He loves that as well.

Allyson is doing well in school.  She has been doing Dr. Seuss this month and had an evening spent with Horton.  Each kid got to take Horton home for a day, with a special book, game and movie to watch as a family. It was a fun treat.

Monday her teacher had a special reading night that Ally and Jared were invited to be a part of.   With that came two new members of the family.

Meet David and Jerry.
Jared was given these 2 guys/gals (who knows) from the reading night.

She also was assigned to make a leprechaun trap.  This is what we came up with.  We had everything but the garland and chocolate coins.  I made the ladder out of a dowel we had.  She loved helping me put this together.  Especially the glitter!

The top had a "X" cut in it and if the leprechaun stood on it he would fall through.

Carys is doing well.  She is a crack up and still a cuddle bug, which I absolutely love.  I love the little person she has become and love watching them all grow and learn new things.

The other day I took the kids for a walk down by the Yakima river.  This is the same place that Aaron and I had our engagement pictures.  The camera was acting lame, come to find out the stabilizer had been switched off, so it made for a few weird blurry shots, but I was able to get a few.  I wasn't planning anything, just thought I would snap while walking.

So here are some shots I got. There are more, some I posted on facebook.

Looks like McGyver was at work again making that ladder. :-) Love the shots from the Park. You have an eye!
