I must say though that the only wind we didn't play in was on Monday. We had what they were calling "destructive wind" gusts up to 60 mph. I didn't think that was a smart idea at all to play in so I didn't take Jared to that game. Seriously though he weighs about 38 pounds, and I was afraid he would fly away. I was thinking about tying a rope to his ankle in case he turned into a kite. Come to find out though yesterday at another game, only 4 crazy people showed up for our team and 5 for the other team. They canceled that game. GO FIGURE!
So, finally yesterday we had some nice weather. 70's no wind, beautiful day!
Here is a mish mash of pictures from the games so far. I have taken a few hundred (not really) but I will only post a sampling!
Right before his first game
I can't believe how grown up he looks here.
He and his buddy Draven from church.
Just playing pitcher with the glove on his head
No idea what this was about.
Jared and Draven pretending to dump water on their heads.
I love how this year he is diving and running for the ball.
He is #5 in the grey pants.
Just pretending to pick his nose while waiting his turn to bat.
Diving again with the big blue helmet on.
Again just look for the #5
I love this shot of him. He caught the ball and the look of determination is awesome. Kinda wish I had missed the other teams runner though.
Not all running and diving works out for the best.
Good catch Jared!
I love watching him play and having a good time with others. I am signing him up for Soccer in the next month, but those practices and games won't start until September. It will be fun I know it!

He's doing so good running and diving this year. But the picture where the dive didn't work just cracks me up.
I have been amazed at the two games I got to watch how much better he is doing this year compared to last year. He really seems to be into it this year. Keep up the good work buddy!
