Life

Life can be predictable, but it can also be surprising.

Life can be thrilling, yet also boring.

Life can be frustrating, hurtful and upsetting, but also rewarding, loving and exciting.

Either way it goes, you have to just keep on living, and try to enjoy each day as much as you can.  No day will ever be exactly the same.

So it has been almost a month since I last posted.

There has been a lot going on lately, but nothing to really post about.

Here are a few shots of some fun that the kids have had and what we have been doing.

My girly girls

My silly little monkey girl, who finally fits in her 18 month old outfit she got last Christmas!  YAY

This boy cracks us up everyday with the things he says and does

Last Thursday we (the kids and I) drove over Snoqualmie Pass and picked up Mom and headed to Pt. Defiance Zoo for Allyson's first field trip with her Preschool class.

Carys was WAY into looking at the animals in the observation room.

Jared was ALL business!  He was NOT about to touch them (they are allowed to do a 1 finger touch.)

These 4 went everywhere together.  It was cute.
Aaron, Jared, Alicia and Allyson

Yesterday we took a family day and drove to Snoqualmie Falls.  I honestly don't remember the last time I was there.  It is a pretty time of year with all the trees and foliage changing colors.

Allyson at one of the observation areas

It was quite chilly and misty

She didn't want to be bothered by a picture

Wish we could have gone done further, but they have the trails all closed off for construction projects right now.  They are building several things down there for a Hydroelectric power station.   I think it is a great idea with all the water that goes through that area, especially in the spring when the snow  melts.  Next time we go, will probably be in the spring and the difference with the water level and strength will be mind boggling I'm sure.

Had a great day at the Zoo. Wish I'd got a picture of Ally holding the starfish in the air (not so much the 1 finger touch). Hilarious.
