Blog Block

So it's been a few weeks since I posted.  I know I should post something, and I am since I am putting this up, but seriously I have gotten "Blog Block."  Meaning I really don't have much to say or post. 

The last few weeks have been less then thrilling. 

-Aaron's been working.
-Someone spent our money in another city.
-3 of us got a horrible stomach flu over Mothers Day weekend and beyond.  Needless to say Mothers Day sucked big time.  I didn't even see my baby for 3 days, so I 'd rather not think about or repeat this Mothers Day.
-Aaron's wallet was stolen, with everything inside it.  Still working on replacing those thing that we can.

Moving on to more Uplifting things though.
-Jared is registered for Preschool, and is very excited.  I'm happy for him, but not really looking forward to him being gone.  He will thrive I'm sure.
-The weather around here has been great this last week or so.
-Carys is doing great.  She is growing like a weed and is very healthy.  Can't believe she is 6 months old!  Time seriously flies by. 
-Got the okay from her Doc to start foods. Carys had her first foods and loves them.  We have tried Sweet Potatoes, Peas, Squash and also Bananas.  She loves them all.

Just a picture for comparison purpose.  I was looking through pictures the other day and I found this one.  These are the same shorts.  Top picture is from earlier this week.  The picture below is from May 2009.  Goofy child .  They are obviously longer, but still fit just fine around the waist and are a fine length too at the knee. 

Looking at these pictures, these shorts were too big then and I am honestly rather surprised they stayed on his little bum.  Even this week I had to tell him over and over to pull up the shorts, since his bum was hanging out!  Gotta love my skinny no-bums!
