Big Changes!

My Birthday present LAST YEAR!

This year, same subject.

Can you see a difference?  I think she is one of  the cutiest (is that a word?) things ever.

Another big change was with Jared.  We got him new bedding a while ago, but finally got the Big boy bed over here.  Yesterday I tore down the old one and got this one built and put together.

Before:

He has been in his crib, using it in the toddler/day bed setting, but will go to a full size bed, but that is just to big for his room here.

After:

Here he is with a twin size bed, which he looks so little in.  He had a choice between bedding and he wanted "The Backyardigans."

He absolutely LOVES being in a bigger bed, and did just fine last night.

Another thing while we are on the subject of Jared is his health issues as of right now.  A while back, (can't really put our finger on when it started happening,) Jared started showing issues with breathing while we are in Tacoma.  We have started seeing patterns that when we are over in Tacoma for a lengthy stay (meaning 3 days or more) Jared starts having serious troubles breathing, so much that it makes talking hard as well. He mentions that it hurts and is hard to breathe.
This last weekend we were in Tacoma for a short stay basically to get clothes for the upcoming family "tieing if the knot".  Saturday, Jared started showing some signs, wheezing, coughing a bit, so I ran over and got some Children's Zyrtec, seeing if it would help.
As the night progressed I could tell the meds weren't helping.
Sunday morning he was really really bad.  During the night he was up a lot, saying he hurt, but he couldn't, or wouldn't really tell us where.  I finally woke him up around 8, cuz I didn't like how he looked as he was trying to sleep.  He got worse as the morning progressed.  Aaron and I decided we needed to leave ASAP to get him home where his Nebulizer and Medications were.  We both as well as my Mom were starting to think that maybe we needed to get him to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, but first Aaron and my Dad gave Jared a Blessing and he started to feel a bit better.  Better enough that we were comfortable with getting him home 2 hours away and given him some treatments.
Yesterday I called his Doctor and he agrees that we need to do some testing and find out what bothers him so badly and causes these attacks.  The thing is we need to wait 2 weeks before doing the testing since I gave Jared an Antihistamine on Saturday.  He said if we were to do the test now, it would show that he isn't allergic to anything, which we know isn't true. In the meantime we can still use the inhalants, as we need too, just nothing else.  We need to get some answers, even though the process doesn't sound pleasant and I hope Jared isn't too upset by it.  They wiggle a bunch of different needles with allergens into the patients back and hold them there waiting for reactions.  We should have answers pretty fast, which we need since our plan is to move to Tacoma.  Only time will tell.

How about mold? I know there's a lot of it on this side of the mountains, and I know lots of people who have trouble with it.

Hopefully you can get it figured out soon!
