Statage

Infant-36 months Growth Chart Pictures, Images and Photos

No, that probably isn't a real word, but that is what this post is about, so just go with it!

Jared's 4 year old stats.

Weight 34 pounds - 10th%
Height 3'5" - 60th%

Overall he is small but healthy and very happy that he doesn't need anymore boosters until he is 11, besides the flu shot that is.  He got 6 shots, yes 6 shots on Wednesday and he was very upset about it.  He did well though, and was a good boy.

Allyson's 2 year old stats.

Weight 26 pounds - 25th%
Height 36 inches - 97th%  WOWZA!

Over she is very tall and lean but healthy.  She was given 3 shots Thursday which of course ended up with tears, but again she did really well.  We thought everything was fine until last night around 5:30.  She was cranky earlier that day which is totally normal for receiving shots, but around 5:30 she started acting really whiney, clinging and that is when I realized that she was hot.  I took her fever and discovered that she was 101.6.  I gave her some meds and about 30 minutes later she threw up.  I realized that she was even hotter than before and was now 102.8.  We called the Doc and discovered that she reacting to the Pneumococcal Vaccine.  1 in 50 kids have this reaction.  More meds and some time later her fever came down and she was able to feel a bit better.
Now for our latest addition.

Carys' 4 week stats

Weight 8 lbs 3 oz!   She gained a pound in 2 and a half weeks! -20th%
Length 21 inches - 50th%

Am I surprised by these numbers?  I am a little surprised that she jumped so much in weight, but then I knew she was having a growth spurt.  She grew an inch too!
Am I surprised that she is on the tall and lean side?
HECK NO!

All I can say is that they don't get it from me.
