As far as the news of 1 or 2 babies we are having 1. This latest scan showed 1 baby who is growing right on track. The question of 1 or 2 was answered as, it was most likely a failed twin that stayed longer than most failed twins.
We are happy with 1. Two would have been fun, but crazy I'm sure, especially with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Not to mention that all my pregnancy issues would have doubled as well. I honestly don't know if my body could have handled it.
My BP is elevated again, but we are keeping an eye on it until my next appointment in a few weeks, and then we may change or adjust my meds as needed. There was mention of going to Seattle again to see my perinatologist that I had with Ally (I started with him at 14 weeks last time), but again we are waiting for the next appointment.
