Easter morning the baskets were full of treats and toys
Mommy and Daddy even got treats. The chick is something that my Grandma Peterson made. It is a little crocheted chick that has a egg that can be filled with treats and then squeezed out like it layed an egg, or as I always said, pooped!
Ally and her chocolates
Jared and his chocolate, yes he is wearing christmas pjs!
Easter afternoon was spent at Aarons folks. We thought it would be "fun" or nice to get pictures of the 3 grandkids together in their Easter duds. Ally's church shoes don't fit anymore, which we found out right before hand. Well this is how well it went.
Ally was not in the mood. It was naptime.
Not too bad though Jared isn't smiling.
Well...
Smiles
Look here!
Gave up on the girls, but Jared looked cute.
So then we tried Grandparent pictures.
Look how "well" these turned out.
Makenna and Ally being so cooperative! Jared posin'
Jared happy, Makenna somewhat alright but getting upset and Ally getting madder.
Jared not too cool anymore, Makenna NOT happy, and Ally starting to get really really mad.
Jared eating his glasses, Makenna beyond done and Ally, well no words.
After settling down and eating there was an Easter egg hunt in the backyard. It was cold and windy so we made it fast, but Jared and Ally both had a good time and got a good fill of eggs and coins and PEZ.
The concept took a few minutes for Ally to figure out, but she caught on and had a good time finding and picking up the eggs.
After the hunt the kids were exhausted and we decided after the 4th or 5th meltdown from Ally that is was time to go. Happy Easter!

Lovely pix. Love the ones with the kids all squirming all over the place. Glad that doesn't ONLY happen here. Teehee.
Haha the joys of *trying* to photograph young children . . .
I love their Easter clothes!!
Where in the world did you find the cadbury bunnys? OH YUM!!!!!
I love the progression pictures. Our girls were being oh so cooperative. At least Jared was excited about pictures. He looks like such a little stud with his shades on.
