Another trip in 4 months.

Dear Allyson,
You my dear have had more ER trips in your short little life than I have had in my entire life. As you know, since you were with us, we had to take you back into the ER Tuesday night.   You were getting worse as the night progressed, but once your breathing became fast and shallow and your heart rate started racing, we knew we had to call your Doctor.  At first he said it was up to us, but once we took your temperature and told him how high it was, there was no question.  You were baking at 103.7, and we had to get that down and get to the bottom of things.
We took you in and after another breathing treatment, motrin, chest xray, and tests were run, and of course you were violated 3 times (rectal temp which made you so upset each time) we got some answers.  You have RSV Bronchiolitis, with the start of Pneumonia in each lung too.   What stinks is that there is nothing else we can do for you yet.  RSV is viral OF COURSE and so no medication will help.  And, until the Pneumonia increases or changes there is nothing to do for that either.  You were sent home with Zofran to help with the Nausea but you still aren't eating. 
Tomorrow we go back to the Doctor with Jared too, since he isn't feeling/sounding any better either.  I hope that we can get some more answers and get you and Jared feeling better.  If nothing else I hope you feel better enough that you will eat or at least drink something. 

Here are a few pictures Ally Tuesday night before our ER visit.  She didn't want to eat so we let her roam around, but she didn't feel like roaming.  She made a cushon out of "Dangles" again and fell asleep right in the middle of the kitchen floor.
