So here is our sick little lady. Yesterday morning Aaron spent a couple hours in the ER with her. I stayed back with Jared since it was only 2:30 AM. Allyson has croup. After receiving a breathing treatment and getting some steroids she came home. She sounded a bit better, but you can see it on her face and in her eyes that she isn't feeling tip top. Poor little girl. We have an appointment with her pediatrician next week for a follow up, as long as she doesn't get any worse that is.
This morning she slept til 7 without waking up at all. She usually wakes up around 5 and needs a bottle to get her through, but not this morning. It was rather nice to sleep all the way through. That hasn't happened since I was pregnant with her. MUCH NEEDED! This morning she sounds horrible. Might be calling the Dr. tomorrow instead of keeping Tuesdays appointment. That is IF we make it til tomorrow. PLEASE!
She loves sitting in our Diapering Basket. Not sure why, but I'm not going to fight her on it. So here she is relaxing in the basket watching Backyardigans.

Poor little sweetness :(. Here's hoping for a quick recovery and a reasonable amount of rest for everyone!
So sorry she is sick! I hope she is feeling better by now & not getting any worse.
I honestly can't look at her without saying (out loud) how cute she is. I just love her cute little face, she makes me smile! :)
we are veterans about croup. sounds worse than it really is. but, oh, those barking coughs will make you worry.
good luck : ) if it's cold outside enough we always take the girls out and let the cold air clear up the croup. that and steamy showers.
