Jared turns 5!

Even though it has been 5 days since he turned 5, I still can't believe that he is 5!
5, he is 5!  It seems like such a big number.  It seems like he isn't little anymore.  Though I know he still is.  I can't believe it has been 5 years since those harrowing days.  I love him to pieces and all his silly little quirks too.  He brings so much into our family.  He is a great big brother to his 2 little sisters.

Monday the day before his birthday was his special day at preschool which meant he got to take a special poster, special toys/things and tell all about him. He also got to take cupcakes.  YES  MORE CAKE!  Can you tell we were all getting tired of cake in this house?

For his birthday he requested sticky buns( monkey bread) for breakfast.  I didn't get a picture, but he ate a whole roll!  That is a lot for little man!

Here are some pictures of Jared's special day this year.

Since we just had the family party he got a couple things on his actual day.

His special hat from school.

12 Hot wheel reader books and 8 new Hot wheel cars.

He opted to have homemade milkshakes instead of cake or cupcakes.
He wanted to make Strawberry and Chocolate, so that is what we did.

Jared with the trampoline from Nana and Papa Peterson with 3 of his new Lego sets.

Daddy and Jared blending the Strawberries!

Jared decided that he wanted his shake to be layered, Strawberry, Chocolate Strawberry.

Somebody here had a new treat and also learned a new trick.  She can now use straws while sucking up delicious shakes!

Happy Birthday Jared!  We love you so much and as so glad you are part of our family!

That is so cute that he wanted milkshakes instead of cake. He is such a sweet boy! I'm so glad that he is part of our family. I don't know what we would do without that silly boy! I love the picture of Carys! What a big girl!
