Past few weeks

Over the past few weeks we have been over in Tacoma for my Grandma Peterson's funeral. The Funeral went well and it was nice to see old family and friends and also to finally meet family too. One nice thing that came out of this sudden loss was being able to see my Sister Melanie and her kids (that sounds bad but hopefully you know what I mean.) We usually only get to see them once a year since they are down in Texas while her husband finishes up more schooling.

All in all the kids got along pretty well. It was a madhouse to put it bluntly but fun too. Of course there was lots of screaming, crying, arguing, and whining, but then there was laughter, hugs and playing too. That is what you get when you have 5 kids 6 and under in a confined area.

The group!

Besides the obvious happenings during the weeks, we also were able to go out and have some fun. We went to the beach, Odyssey (like a small Chuck E Cheese), Zoo and Park. Like I mentioned before with the above group of small kids we needed to get them out of the house and blow energy. They all had fun, even the 2 youngest.

A few pictures to document the adventures.

Jared was loving these roller racers.

It was great having everyone home, even if it was a Zoo.

Hey! I just noticed we ended up grouping our kids together by eye color in that first picture - all the blues on the left and the browns on the right! :)
