We were in Tacoma for a bit spending time with my sister Melanie and her 3 kids who were up visiting from Texas. Unfortunately her Husband Billy wasn't able to join in the madness, but maybe next time. Picture if you will 12 people, 5 of them being 5 years old and younger, in a 4 bedroom house at the same time! It was fun, loud, crazy, frustrating, draining, but all in all fun.
Jared had a good time. Last year when Mel and the kids came up he was barely a year and was trying his darnedest to keep up and play with Emily and Jacob who are 3 years and 14 months older then him. This year they all did pretty well with playing together and "trying" to share. Can't be perfect they are still young.
Then there was Matthew who is 9 months and Allyson who is 2 months. They just went with the flow. Matthew followed the others around with all his might and got sad when we all moved too fast for his army crawl, but boy he tried! Ally just laid there!
Anyway a few places we went was the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, and the Children's Museum.
Some pictures showing the festivities.

The 3 "walkers" Emily 5 Jacob 3 and Jared 2

Jared and Dad coming down the slide. Funniest thing, Jared wanted to go down the slide like the other 2, but he got maybe a foot down and said "stuck!" Since Dad was up there still he went down too, pushing Pea with his feet! Thanks for the help Dad!

Emily, Jacob and Jared making cards and letters for Great Grandpa in the Nursing Home.

Jared putting Red Peppers in the Apple tree at the Children's Museum.

Dad weighing Matthew! Silly boys!

I had to make sure Ally was in here somewhere. Ignore the tired Carolyn.

Mom and Dad with all the Grand Kids
Jacob, Allyson, Emily, Jared and Matthew!
Now, I want you to go back and look closely. There is a common factor in all but 1 picture with Jared. There is something always with Jared. We should have named him Linus!

It looks like you had fun! I love all of the pictures.
Yay for pictures! I'll try to get some up soon. It was crazy, but it was sure good to see you guys and I'm glad I finally got to meet little Ally! Thanks for driving over for a few days!
The grandparents look HAPPY! I bet they loved having a full house. What is the place that Grandpa is helping Jared down the slide? That looks fun.
Looks like you guys have been having lots of fun! And the slide is really cool. Britton still has fears of tall slides.
